treated them as tokens and so on and promoted people that often were not ready and deserving of spots. After class I remember a classmate coming up to and saying something like "I can't believe you really believe that nonsense" or something like that. Well, 25 years later I don't see much has changed in this debate. Some people are incapable of seriously examining it.
