I love the guy. But it's been two straight seasons of watching his shot decompose over the season, to the point where he's being left open by 10 feet and shooting airballs, is painful. As a pickup baller who's also mentally fragile about shooting it literally makes me feel bad, personally, to watch it happen.

I love the March Roddy thing. And I felt like he got his happy ending last year, I just wanted it to end on a triumphant note and note have to endure the pain again.

This is 100% personal, I am not saying he would make the team worse. However, we do have a younger and more athletic version of him (McCoy) and I do think the upside of having him along with McCoy is more limited.
