That feeling needs to sustain you for more than 3 years. Every sportsfan seemingly has this inherent catastrophicism, this cynical "it'll never happen for us" thing.

And in some cases it's totally justified. Detroit Lions fans have fuggin EARNED that feeling. It's self protection. We can never, ever hope for the best and must always protect ourselves by assuming the worst. If pattern ever breaks, it's a miracle and we'll enjoy it as much as anyone else would, if not more. But we're sensibly prepared for the worst.

Michigan sports fans in 2026 shouldn't have that feeling, and certainly haven't earned it.
