To the extent that wnba stories should hold prominent position on ESPN's front page is another discussion (trying to get uncwolverine to come back!)
And there is some legitimate drama in the league, which Sophie Cunningham and others play upon. But the top link today, a total dead period for sports, is "Caitlyn Clark is visibly frustrated by Paige Buecker foul".
You click on the link and it's absolutely nothing. Two literal seconds of hot competitive temper, immediately forgotten by all parties. Like what happens in men's sports 10 times in every fucking game.
But ESPN feels the need to make that the first link to anything wnba related. I wouldn't call them out at all if they just ignored the sport, but that's not that they're doing. It's clearly GIRL FIGHT!!! sexism.
