Apparently, the crop is a little lower this year, and it’s being felt more in supermarket distribution than other channels. (Makes sense—the growers probably make a much higher profit shipping 25 lbs to me than they do selling to wholesale grocery distributors.)

I’ve been getting 25 lb crates from the local store the last few years, but they told me they won’t have that kind of quantity available this year.
