The Victors

Like others I'm using the updated board to try to get back into posting instead of just lurking. I started out posting in the early 2000s on the Rivals board under this handle which some of the old basketball mafia crew (BBA, detroitbry, rich) might remember. Found this board in the mid-2000s but posted under jt. Once we went to passwords I think I either forgot mine quickly or never signed up, and in either case was too lazy to figure it out so I've just been lurking since. Decided to go back to the michjd handle now because as someone else noted we have an overabundance of one to three initial handles and I'm not creative enough to come up with a brand new handle.

I add zero diversity to the board as I'm about as stereotypical as it gets. Mid-40s, born and raised in Michigan but moved to Chicago after law school, despise Trump/MAGA/Republicans, etc. Huge Michigan basketball and football fan. Casual NFL and NBA fan. I cheer for the Bulls and Bears but still like to see the Lions and Pistons do well (I know that's frowned upon, but like I said, casual fan). Started getting into soccer and specifically Barcelona around 2011 or so and have become a pretty big fan since. Nice to see numerous other Barca fans here and I've enjoyed reading posts from people much more knowledgeable than me when it comes to soccer.

I'll try to post more instead of just lurking but we'll see how it goes. Huge thanks to Nikos for putting this new board together. It's outstanding!
