I have heard that he didn't schedule the meeting with the VP HR to discuss until this Friday. He's going to run half the clock out on my 2wk notice with me just sitting here mentally checking out like Paul does every day. My temporary interim boss also thinks this is dumb and is trying to force the issue. We'll see. Tales from the corporate world.
