The problem with that Rolling Stone Magazine top 30 list is that they needed to break it up more by genre.(m)

I get that they started as a “Rock & Roll” magazine, but they’re also including rap albums in their top 30 list. If they’re gonna do that, they should’ve had 2 or maybe 3 general lists:
Rock (including grunge, alternative rock, etc)
Rap/HipHop
Optionally: Pop/R&B
Because as it stands, they’re missing a ton that should be on there, even omitting all the pop/r&b stuff: Tupac, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys, NWA, A Tribe Called Quest, Phish, Cake, etc.
