Not single but I like traveling alone on business.....

If you have work interactions during the day, it's ok to dine alone (I actually enjoy it) and do your own thing. Maybe strike up conversations with people at the hotel or restaurant. But there are times when it gets quiet and after a few days, it could get boring if you didn't interact much.
So I think about this with personal travel. I don't do a lot of it (most of it has been family stuff and that is great) but it is a desire of mine to travel a lot in the coming years. But I want to do more overseas. My wife is unable to travel so I will probably be doing some or most of this alone. I am arriving at that decision point where if I am going to ramp up the travel, how is this going to look? Like I said, I am good doing it alone but it's another thing to schedule it and do it.
