Both the same age, both wealthy. But that is where the similarities end

Dolly: Born into abject poverty. Became rich and famous strictly by the sheer force of her own will and talent. Truly self-made.

Donnie: Born with a silver spoon up his ass, the paradigm of “born on third base, thinks he hit a triple.” Nepo baby.

Dolly: Legitimately successful in multiple business ventures. No notable failures, zero bankruptcies.

Donnie: Failed at nearly everything he tried, only to be repeatedly bailed out by others. Bankrupted casinos. Casinos.

Dolly: Modest, witty, funny and self-effacing.

Donnie: Completely without wit or humor, a complete blowhard and bully whose idea of being funny is mocking a disabled person or hurling second grade playground level insults.

Dolly: Defined by being relentlessly charitable, gave away tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars. And we probably don’t know the full scope of it because she was so modest she preferred to do it in anonymity, unless she thought lending her name and fame could bring positive attention to a worthy cause.

Donnie: Not that.

The list could go on and on. And the same people who rightly love Dolly for all her legitimate virtues somehow also idolize Trump for displaying literally the exact opposite values they claim to hold so dear. The dissonance is amazing.
