USC and ND are scheduled to open the 2030 and 2031 seasons. That would be a concession by the Irish given their past scheduling practices with the Trojans.
The games in 2032 and 2033 are supposed to be played the first three weeks of the season. Michigan hosts Notre Dame on 9/3/33 and plays in South Bend on 9/2/34.
No word yet if Texas is going to cancel that home-and-home with Notre Dame.
Indiana proved a team can win a NC without playing any P4 teams OOC. The toughest competition comes in conference and in the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see what Michigan does non-conference scheduling wise with a new AD at the helm and Whittingham having at least one Big Ten season under his belt. No major OOC opponents have been announced past 2027 (except Notre Dame). Of course, the television networks do pay a big part of the bill ...
