I try not to take this stuff too literally/seriously, because it's mostly fans saying fan stuff (see also: "the refs have it in for us/we get uniquely screwed." Weird that every single fanbase thinks this).
But given the recent tremendous successes of the programs, continuing with the self-pity party is a bit much. I'm not saying you can't demand excellence or be upset when anything goes wrong, but the " woe is us/will there ever be a rainbow" act is comicly misplaced at this particular moment.
Or, put differently, I don't expect precision rationality in fandom, but at least a vague nod towards rationality would be appreciated.
