her father had Alzheimers and she has the 4/4 APOE gene (like her father did) which means she is more likely to get it, so she gets very detailed about why she doesn't remember something that is no big deal to probably convince herself that she didn't forget something, just that I didn't explain something sufficiently so she would understand it, hence the long conversation which drives me nuts when it is the fourth time a long complicated conversation has taken place in the first 3 hours of being awake (other ones were not memory things, just other overly complicated discussions).
