I doubt he'll play the fall season, and he'll probably spend the next four months trying to figure out if he wants to give it one last go next year. He did reach the Australian final and the Wimbledon semis but did nothing else all season. The last time before tonight he lost in the first round of a major Lloyd Carr still had two seasons left to coach at Michigan.
