Older people listen to the Beatles, but how much do younger people listen to them? I have like 5 Beatles songs on my playlist, and I think that's a lot. All of those songs are from SPLBCB or later.
On a local radio station, WXRT, they have a segment every Sunday called Breakfast with the Beatles. I skip that station when I'm driving. I don't have much appetite to listen to a majority of their catelogue.
I don't have a strong opinion on who the greatest rock band of all time, but if I had to name one, I'd go with the Rolling Stones over the Beatles. Exile on Mainstreet and Sticky Fingers are really good albums. Even later Some Girls is really good too.
