The key word in that headline is Trump. There is no negotiating with Trump. For anyone. Iran has essentially stopped trying because there is no negotiating with Trump. They would be insane to trust any deal, signed, sealed, blood oath, pinky swear. Trump is a liar. He lies to them. He lies about them. He makes public comments and social media posts (don’t get me started) that are lies. About Iran. Saying they are doing or agreeing to things that are not true.
All this is happening after an illegal attack with no international backing that goes against a deal Iran already signed that all signs suggest they were at least moderately following.
Iran must wait for a new administration. Maybe after Trump dies, but even there the well is good and poisoned. Can you imagine a neutral advisor recommending otherwise? Sham agreements, can kicking promises, fake cease fires, that’s the smart play for Iran. Even if you think Iran leadership cares about being bombed, there is no reason to trust Trump enough to agree to anything significant. Even agreements in their favor have zero value beyond his next 3AM drugged up truth social meltdown.
They know this. You know this. Report it you fucking cowards.
