for those that don't make the cut for single sale, they aggregate and sell them in small lots on eBay. For the cards that don't sell on the private market, they put into eBay rotation. In cases where they deem a card is good enough to grade, they use SGC, not PRA, which I am fine with. They split the cost on grading.

I am meeting with the guy at the consignment place again to get a better sense of sales success, return, etc. If I have a decent (well, relatively) e.g., '68 Hank Aaron, I don't want them to sell it for $40, and then get $25 after their take + fees. That card is worth more to me than $25. I don't need the money. I need the artifact and memory more. And, I can pass down to my daughter's or nephew (with the zero sum realization that card collecting, and life, won't be a thing in 10 years).
