The Victors

I have to present in front of several C-Suite members tomorrow (and others - mostly in Finance). Several weeks ago I asked for some critical information that only Finance would have for this presentation. Crickets from all five people I reached out to on Slack. Not even a "I'll get back to you on this" but no response at all.

I follow up again last week and still nothing. I do my best to gather something approximating accurate information and start working on the deck. The same people get access to the deck today and blow me up that the information isn't right, and I shouldn't be presenting numbers without the right data. No shit! I ask them again for the data. Have they given it to me? NOPE! They still want me to present a watered down and fucking useless version with no numbers.

I don't understand people.
