winning the FCS national title in 1998 with a young Don Brown as their DC, and losing the national title game in 2006 with Don Brown as the head coach. They lost (spent!) a little money every year on the football team and it was fine.

What was the point of elevating? A potential student who wouldn't set foot on the campus to see a competitive URI-UMass CAA conference game is going to be wowed by a BGSU-UMass MAC game?
