I've noticed the headlines seem to make the issue out as if these are guys who have been in the NFL for a few years, thus giving LSU a massive advantage.
I guess they got some higher level professional training at whatever teams' camps they attended but it seems unlikely they're going to contribute that much, are they?
I mean I don't like the notion of players jumping back and forth between NFL and college, but if the conversation is no longer pros vs. amateurs, then what's the real difference here? Or were these guys more promising than I realize and could have made some money in the NFL but chose LSU because of more money?
