I think there’s a decent chance that we simply pave their D. The old cliche about Xs and Os and jimmies and joes: you can scheme your way to effective offensive performances (with good execution), but on defense, you really have to have the horses, which WMU probably does not. No amount of clever scheming can really make up for that.

As for our D, I’m a little less confident. We’ll see—I think the potential exists for a dominant defense, but WMU has a decently veteran offense, they run the ball well, and I think that’s the aspect of our D that’s still a little unknown.

TL/DR: I wouldn’t be too shocked if it’s a fairly high-scoring game. Like 41-27 or something.
