Pretty much every projection puts this team anywhere 7-5 in the regular season to 9-3. That's not a lot to get excited this season.

There's obvious concern about the DTs and the LBs in terms of talent and overall depth. That's worrisome over a 12-game season.

OTOH, there are bright spots in other position groups. One possible irony though, is that while the WR position looks first rate, they may be wasted if we see another incarnation of Back Foot Bryce.

So I'm pretty much on hold until after the Oklahoma and Iowa games. Both teams have first rate defensive coaching staffs, and if they make Michigan one dimensional on offense, those games could turn out to be problematic.
