We have a generator. Yesterday around 4 things cleared. We had guests so we took a run around the chain of lakes in the pontoon. 3 hours later the sun is breaking through but when we got back the generator was running. We did see tons of down trees on our cruise. My guess is that DTE assessed the damage all over and had to shut down large parts of the grid to get repairs done properly. My neighbor is out of town so I called him since our ETA was later today for restoration. I pulled his kitchen and garage fridges out and plugged them into extension cords I ran from our house. 10pm last night the power came back on. Waiting until later this morning to put everything back for him.
