Ask Unedaya-sensei. Guess what, with literally no encouragement at all from me, subconscious or otherwise, all three of my sons have taken a keen interest in studying Japanese and are going full tilt (duolingo type stuff but one bought a workbook online and is learning the characters). It will probably fade in a few weeks but interesting to see.
