No insider is going to give the unvarnished truth if the unvarnished truth is bad. He will quickly feel the enmity of the staff and program and possibly lose access. I think itβs also kinda like what happens at CNBC - these journalists get to OC lose to their subjects, too friendly, and the objective journalism aspect slowly fades away and you wind up with Sarah Eisen acting like a giddy schoolgirl whenever the subject of Jamie Dimon comes up. The coaches are βgood guysβ and the players are as well - nobody wants to say negative things out loud.
