looked something like this: roughly 15% likelihood he would be in contention for a Heisman finalist, 40% he would be among top few QBs in B10, 40% good Power 4 QB, 5% no better than 2025.

That was the growing hype from practices. Even though we all know better, we never actually know better.

So today we're in the "fool me once..." mood (and probably prone to exaggerated negativity).

What is your revised Underwood forecast (and revision of the probably modal 9-3 season forecast) ?

Mine: He will be a little better than last year, holds the job all season over Carr, but also average to slightly below average for a starting Power 4 QB. Team: 7-5.
