Fun Fact: From 1961-75, NASA launched 33 Saturn class launch vehicles -- Saturn 1, Saturn 1B and Saturn V -- with a total of 90 active stages. Out of those 33 flights, none (zero zip zilch nada) ended with catastrophic unscheduled destruction of at least one stage. Of the 90 live stages, there was one (1) that malfunctioned sufficiently to have caused a flight abort (but the flight was concluded successfully).
Elon Musk's super duper "Starship" is the massive intended successor to the Saturn V. SpaceX has launched Starship 15 times now. The number of flights suffering in flight explosions or crashes?
