That first hail mary really encapsulates it for Bryce. Not only did Bryce airmail the ball and not give our outstanding receivers even a chance, he unnecessarily wasted the full time (less 0.001 seconds, I guess) when we always should have had two looks at it...

I'm not saying he's a dumb person - of course not. But he's a dumb football player, at least right now.
Question remains how much the mistakes he makes can be attributed to youth (a totally fair excuse for a (still!) 19yo) and can therefore be fixable, and how many can be attributed to just inherently poor instincts and decision making.
Call me a doubter at this point, gun to my head. I could very very easily be dead wrong, and obviously I pray that I am, but you see guys in the NBA with every physical ability and just no clue how to play winning basketball. Or physically limited players with amazing instincts, reaction time, court vision, awareness, something.
That said, he *might* be able to become a good or even really good college QB without ever being a great decision maker. There have been guys who flamed out of the NFL because they couldn't process on that level who were fantastic college QBs.
But um, does anyone else think he's kind of slow? I still can't believe he couldn't beat that DE clean to the endzone.
