Stop with all the it's now, or it's over B.S.
Oklahoma will likely beat Michigan, and it might get ugly, like the 2007 Oregon game or the 2024 Texas game in Ann Arbor. Oklahoma has an experienced quarterback and a veteran team poised for a playoff run; Michigan is breaking in a young quarterback on a roster with some holes.
Realistically, whatever happens against Oklahoma won't matter much for the rest of the season unless we freak out and let it. Our season starts with Iowa. This was never a playoff team to begin with, and it’s time to accept that. Reaching eight or nine wins—and perhaps stealing a victory against Oregon or Ohio State at the end of the year—should be considered a success. If we can do that, we’ll roll into next year’s brutal schedule with some confidence.
