He said, if there are two sources of truth defer to what is on TV. What a dumb fucking idea. God I hate that fucker. There isn’t a sports person who more consistently represents an opinion I find to be bullshit more than Mike asswipe Pereira. If you have footage that you know is accurate, use that. Every time. Then address why there is a difference. Fall on your sword if necessary, which is exactly what NBC/BigTen/Stadium Operator should do. But make the right call and don’t give into what is on TV for simple PR purposes.

My comment to the Illinois fan will be (after he concedes the Big Ten didn’t cheat or doctor the video, which of course they didn’t), “the Big Ten owes Michigan an apology.” Yes that is a bit tongue in cheek. They should have coordinated a response with NBC clarifying not just the call but why two clocks. What happened. At minimum say they will find the reason why. Michigan is getting blasted for something they have zero control over versus celebrated for a Hail Mary victory. Big Ten, it’s your fuckup, own it and get a hold of the perception.
