The SEC's amended federal lawsuit against LSU says they believe Lane Kiffin is working with player lawyers, and that LSU has no meaningful control over the football program.
The league will consider expelling LSU at a previously-scheduled Sept. 10 meeting.

I'd file this threat away with Jim Delany's claim in 2013 that the Big Ten programs would go down to D-III rather than engage in pay-for-play. Still, they are throwing around all sorts of shit in court. They are now citing Kiffin's comments on Saturday night as evidence that LSU does not have control over its program.
