Energy and vitality seem to differ more and more with increasing age…

Posted on August 6, 2026 at 11:36:00 AM by Craig (edited August 6, 2026 at 11:37:32 AM)

Our youngest son works in a large medical clinic. He mentions to us often how radically more healthy and vital we are compared to many of the people on their 60s that he sees.

I know people my age that run ultra marathons and climb mountains. Some are captains of industry, etc (None that I know, cuz, birds of a feather…) And some seem to have 1.5 feet in the grave.

I still have plenty of physical energy, but no way would I want a position of vast responsibility and stress. And I’m “only” 62.
