The struggling Athletic is always going to dive into stuff like this for clicks, these are the same people who reported a "21 point per game" sign-stealing advantage even as betting lines didn't move. Sagarin isn't even used for anything anymore so the guy has nothing to lose to get 24 hours of shine from the sicko type of fans.

Behavior like this really pushes me away from the internet though. Somewhere along the lines, trolling and memeing became the status quo and the entire online experience has suffered for it. As I get older, I am often thinking "Do I really need to read this shit anymore?"
