IMHO, M's incompetent offense was extremely complementary of a Western defense that sold out to stop the run by failing to take advantage of what Devin and others have pointed out on film were highly probable first downs and an additional touchdown or two that should have been had BU followed through the actual reads (both open receivers and misplaying the zone read by not pulling the ball when the DE was clearly crashing or not running for first downs when he had 15 yards of open field in front of him on 3rd and 3 and chose to force a bad pass).

OTOH, their offense probably isn't as bad as Michigan made it look where they had some time eating drives but scored no touchdowns and only had two really drives that led to field goals with the other two being gifts courtesy of the fumbled punt return and the telegraphed pick just before half.
