The introduction of instant replay that was suppsed to ensure fairness now has us debating fractions of seconds, tenths of inches, blades of grass, and minute movements of balls that may or may not have been caught, fumbled, incomplete passes or grounding, the postion of a linemans head relative to the ball, his feet relative to the line of scrimmage, or his movement as parallel to or angled toward the LOS.

It has got to be the most complicated set of rules in existence for a major sport and in any given play or game there is constantly something to bitch about. Holding, targeting, low blocks, pass interference (no, thats handfighting!), illegal contact, pick plays, illegal man downhill, it is fucking endless and absurd.
