Lots of revisionist history here.

Jim was 46-9 in his first 5 years entering OSU. His problem was the OSU game, period. And it took a while to recruit and develop to that elite level (and yet we still had a game stolen).

2 of his first 5 teams were top 7 in the nation and would easily be playoff teams today in the 12 team world.

Whittingham would be lucky to be close to Harbaugh's first 5 years.
