have you looked at those tent setups they have for SUVs? Like it unfolds on top? My buddy had one for awhile. He had a love hate relationship with it

we would help him fold it up in the morning and it def took a decent amount of work, but when it was setup it was a pretty nice space, and off the ground so warmer.

The next good night's sleep I get when camping will be the first. Too cold, too hot, damp, deflated air mattresses, sore hips, mosquitoes in tent, leaky tent, bright light at 5 in the morning, noisy neighbors, it's the worst.
