1976 OSU. Similar to 2021 in ending a long period of anguish in The Game, in dramatic fashion.

1978 ND. The hype for the resumption of this rivalry was off the charts. ND would be our arch-nemesis, even if not our biggest rival, in the years that followed, but we got the first win in the modern series.

1995 OSU. THe last OSU Game I saw in person, the Biakabatuka game. The first time I really thought the Carr era might work out OK.

1997 Colorado—recently discussed.

1997 Rose Bowl (1/1/98)—not so much, because immediately after winning, we still had to worry about Nebraska and the fucking polls.
