The Victors

It’s been about 16 months since I left the University of Michigan, and one thing that continues to bring me great joy is the number of meaningful conversations I still have with people across the institution.

Several times a week, I hear from faculty, staff, students and alumni — questions about coursework, career advice, letters of recommendation and wide-ranging discussions about the future of research and medicine.

Most gratifying of all are the conversations about how I can help Michigan and Michigan Medicine, whether through specific research projects or fundraising. They span LSA to Kellogg, bioinformatics, engineering, music, AI-based diagnostics and treatment, and clinical trials.

Forever proud of what Michigan people are doing, and always rooting for the university and everything it stands for.
