We get blown out: season is already over most likely, playing for pride against a difficult schedule. Just make a bowl and beat MSU. Dark, deep depression that Whitt is the wrong guy and we are already in the denouement of his tenure.

We lose a close game: season continues with pessimism but some mild hope of improvement week to week and possibly making some noise in the B1G. Whitt's floor rises slightly to late stage Carr, which while not great, is acceptable.

We win a close game: Optimism of a one off against WMU and that Whitt is somewhere between Jim and Moore, not Moore and Hoke or RR. Possibly this is a playoff team and at least it's not a bad one.

We win a blowout: Muppets. Whitt is building a monster. In this scenario BU almost certainly balls out. BU is back on track as a FRP, program is saved -- for the moment at least. Hype for rest of season just went to 11.
