On 9/11 my wife called her grandmother, who lived in Wyoming and was relatively disconnected from the world, to let her know what had happened. My wife tells her that terrorists flew airplanes into the World Trade Center buildings and that the damage caused them.to collapse and killed many people.

Her grandmother pauses and says "WAS IT THE JAPS?"
