Trump just signed two executive orders targeting birthright citizenship on August 6th, 2026. One of them specifically targets “birth tourism.” So let’s talk about birth tourism.
During Trump’s first term, wealthy Russian women were flying to Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, nicknamed “Little Russia,” to give birth at Trump-branded properties.
Birth tourism companies with offices in Moscow were advertising Trump Tower apartments as part of their packages.
The most expensive one cost $84,700 and included a gold-tiled bathtub and chauffeured Escalade. Multiple companies advertised lodging in Trump Towers, Trump Royale, and nearby Trump International Beach Resort. Russian fathers were posting their newborns’ dual passports on Instagram from Trump condos.
This wasn’t some huge secret. NBC News, the Daily Beast, PBS, and AFP all covered it.
