if they were not sure he could handle a starters workload, what makes you think he will do so coming straight off 2 months on the IL? He is a starter next year. He probably won’t go more than 3-4 innings in a game in September*

  • Just read an article about Mize. Apparently his velocity had dropped quite a bit in his last 2 or 3 starts. I also didn't realize his 29.     • Ryan is a starter. He started a game for the Dodgers in a championship season, and they were holding off calling him up this year because they weren’t sure he was ready for a starter’s workload.
