In some ways, UM being ranked at 19 seems about right.

But if you go by actual accomplishments, who else has won all their games *and* has a win over a ranked opponent? Texas, who is clearly #1 by accomplishments to date. UM would probably be #2.

Unbeaten teams with a win over a possibly ranked opponent:
Duke (Was Illinois ranked?)
Michigan
MIssissippi (was Louisville ranked?)
North Carolina (was TCU ranked?)
Texas

I’d rather see accomplishment-based ranking: have you won your games? Who have you beaten that is good at football? Would help prevent teams who play no one from inflated rankings.
