Mestemaker is much more of a throwing QB than a runner.

He had only six carries against Oregon and one of them broke big. He led the NCAA last year in both yards per game and yards per attempt, which is hard to do. He's a fascinating story because he did not start in high school, became the starter at North Texas, put up ludicrous numbers, and now looks like he is going to do the same at Oklahoma State.
Anyway, he is a COMPLETELY different QB than Bryce.

Would be stunned if Jim goes back to college. He won a title this alma mater. Peak reached. He clearly wants a Super Bowl ring. If it doesn’t work out with LAC I could see him giving it one more shot with a different team.*

Even in fantasy land, JH isn't going to Stanford in the ACC and little NIL. Oregon gave up close to 600 yards, they are having trouble with everything on defense. After two straight struggles, the math has already changed.*

Only way JH is coming back to college is with a strong legal team. He's under show cause for a very long time*

re: #2. If WMU goes 11-1 with their one loss being by a point to UM under weird circumstances…
