all through 2024 and going into the 2024 playoffs, I was raising the alarm that OSU has an "offense problem". My point was that under Day, in big games, that lights out OSU offense had done this:
2021: Oregon - 28
2021: Michigan - 27
2022: Notre Dame - 21
2022: PSU - 44
2022: Michigan - 23
2022: Georgia - 42
2023: Notre Dame - 17
2023: PSU - 10
2023: Michigan - 24
2023: Missouri - 3
2024: Oregon - 31
2024: PSU - 23
2024: Indiana - 38
2024: Michigan - 10
14 games: over 30 in 4/14, under 20 in 4
As likely to go under 20 as over 30 is not what you'd think from OSU
They are supposed to be "You need to score 40 because you are not going to stop this offense."
But then they absolutely fucking exploded in the 2024 playoffs (42, 41, 28, 34)
