It's terrific for overnight layovers when transiting from AK to Asia. It's probably the worst of the Hawaiian islands but does have some low brow, brainless charm that is nice. Some fun dark bars in Honolulu. The Hawaii and the Waikiki yacht clubs are great, if your a sailor they'll let you in the door to drink and eat
