We hate Trump a thousand times more than Kirk because he was so much more consequential. "Just wait until we get to celebrate when Obama and Clinton die." Fine, I don't care. We're not a cult so you can do whatever you want and it won't make a damned bit of difference to us. I didn't celebrate when Reagan or Nixon died (although Nixon is before my time) and I won't when W dies. Trump is sui generis as Presidents go. He made himself the center of attention at all times and I will continue to honor his narcissistic desire as he leaves this mortal coil. It also bears mentioning that the people who were fired because of their expressions of sentiment when Kirk died generally got large legal settlements so it's not like the effort to make him a saint proved effective.

I expect that there will be some violence when the gun nuts take to the streets to express their feelings. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess.
