There is a reason public sentiment has turned more violently against Israel globally than even the US. I'm not anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic. But we have to acknowledge the the Venn diagram of US Jews and Zionists is close to a circle. Like 80+% still support Israel even after all this. And much like the MAGA's do with Trump, they are using any legitimate criticism of Israel or its war to claim they are being persecuted and don't feel safe if they have to hear it. Students on campus protest in defense of Palestinians, and Jewish students and parents lose their shit claiming they're being persecuted for being Jewish and it's anti-Semitic to oppose anything to do with Israel.
