UM was a perfect storm of bad circumstances for RR. I think if he had had Denard in 2008 he would have survived the transition and had a successful run here, or at least he would have had a good chance to do so. But he got way behind the eight ball and couldn't dig out from that. Thus was the Chobani Era of Michigan football born.
